One speaker, modeled once, then placed in a studio, on dunes and in a living room.A launch film and a social pack built from a single model, with no shoot behind them.
Cayin built its name on tube amplifiers, and the T-40 is the kind of speaker people want to see in a room before they commit to it. A conventional launch answers that with a studio, a crew and a unit shipped to each location. This concept asks what happens when the speaker only has to be built once.
The T-40 is modeled as a single asset, down to the grain of the cabinet and the edge of its custom 6.5-inch woofer. From there it goes wherever the story needs it: a plinth on the dunes, a field of dry grass, a living room with the curtains moving. The lighting is designed for each scene, the finish changes by material alone, and the film, loops and stills read as one launch.
